When the mats are new they can be TOO sticky. Be sure to remove what you're cutting as soon as it's cut or it seems to be more likely to tear when you try to remove it.

Then, later the stickiness wears off and isn't sticky enough, or at all!

Seems costly for something that is either too sticky or not sticky enough. What I was told (not sure yet if it saves any money) is when the stickiness wears off use a repositional spray adhesive on the mat before you put your paper on it. I have done this many times, but the spray can be messy.

Not much you can do if want to use the Cricut or Expressions. I just look for good sales on the mats.

This is tracing paper and a stencil pencil, not the stencil paper with four sheets. That being said, it works pretty well for tracing stencils, you just have to trace a mirror image. Not for use in printer. Title is misleading.

The paper quality is not the thick good quality paper, but not too flimsy either. I would say the thickness of paper maybe 80 GSM weight paper. It contains pattern paper and plain colored paper. Each design comes in 4 pcs. The colors ranges from blue, pink, yellow, green red, white. I love brown and pink paper which this pack had none of brown and very few pinks : (. The designs are rather simple few florals here and there, some stripes, polka dots etc....nothing to really shout about. Each color pattern paper would not have more than 2 or 3 colors on it (so very simple). The paper with many designs on it comes in mainly retro colors and designs. However is great value for money cause of the price and quantity of paper you get.

This is a great deal with a nice variety of papers. The themes are very springtime, lots of bright greens, pinks, and blues. Some of the pages are extremely neutral and somewhat blase and there are a few - like the bright pink pattern of stripes that you see in the photo - that are just so BRIGHT that they are difficult to use.

On the whole, however, these are very usable and a bargain at the price. I'd buy this pack again.
